Best Practices for Distance Learning
Description:
As CPWR transitioned to more virtual safety and health training due to COVID-19, we conducted evaluation research on the effectiveness of the safety training content and distance learning format but also the feasibility of integrating the distance learning format into future training efforts. Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA)
Description:
Contractors and workers that perform healthcare or other occupied facility and renovation construction need to understand the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) procedures to properly perform this work. CPWR's 8-hour ICRA Awareness training program provides the necessary information to understand and apply the ICRA procedures and examines the practical use of ICRA tools including containment, negative air, HEPA filtration, and work practice techniques. The training program uses a variety of adult education classroom activities to build upon particpants' experiences working in construction, maintenance, renovation, demolition, or healthcare facility environments.

NIEHS/CPWR Disaster Preparedness mobile app
Description:
The NIEHS/CPWR Disaster Preparedness mobile app allows workers exposed to hazards on disaster sites to access a full suite of awareness-level training resources with a simple tap of the screen. From within the app, users can select and download training materials on a variety of disaster types and related topics. COVID-19 has now been added as a training topic.
