About CPWR's COVID-19 Construction Clearinghouse

CPWR - The Center for Construction Research and Training is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit institution created by North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU) with the mission to improve safety and health in the U.S. construction industry.

CPWR serves as the National Construction Center for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). In this capacity, CPWR responds to existing and emerging hazards facing construction workers, their employers and other industry stakeholders by conducting research and developing training materials and other resources to help the industry identify hazards and solutions to reduce or eliminate the risks.

The novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a new and evolving hazard facing workers and industries throughout the world, including construction. This Clearinghouse was established as a central resource for construction employers and workers to find the latest research, guidance documents, training, and other resources to help prevent the spread of the disease as construction work continues in some markets and restarts in others. It is populated by resources from government, industry, and academic sources.

The scientific community's understanding of COVID-19 is still evolving. The resources included in this Clearinghouse are considered accurate as of the date posted, and every effort is being made to include the latest information. However, since the situation is evolving, please let us know if more timely information is available.

If you would like to alert us to resources that may be out of date, or if you would like to share resources your organization has developed or innovative approaches being used for protecting workers, please email covid19@cpwr.com.
